As the world of digital audio tries to keep pace with HDTV technology, demand for 5.1 headphones (headphones that are able to re-create the full impact of a movie’s 5.1 surround-sound audio track) continues to ramp up. There are currently over 700 radio stations in the US that are now broadcasting with the new HD standards and the use of 5.1 headphones greatly increases the listening experience of such channels.
LTB audio recently announced the first of its kind launch of a wireless 5.1 headphone system called Cinema 1. These headphones are ideal for listening to music, watching DVDs or for HD gaming.
